Sleep Support

Sleep deprived and desperate…

Dysfunctional sleep behaviors can create havoc in the whole family. You hear your child cry out in the middle of the night, and a heavy weight falls on you. You somehow drag yourself to sitting and go to them, trying to rack your brain for what you’re going to do this time.

You’re probably trying everything to put your child to bed, but it feels like you’re part of a circus.

When you finally fall back in bed and pray that they stay asleep (just this once?), it can feel like you’re in it all alone.

Your friends and family are all tired of hearing you respond, “Tired” to their polite question, “How are you today?”

You may try to consult the Internet or the latest book for more ideas on how to get your child to fall asleep or stay asleep, but you end up feeling more confused!

There is a solution to this problem; with a little coaching, you will receive help in how to overcome sleepless nights.

Who is in your corner?

My approach to improving your child’s sleep always comes from a place of attachment and bonding to your child.

The focus isn’t solely on the child, it’s on the parents. Your physical and mental well-being are essential to the success of your parenting. Therefore, my role is three-fold: educator, emotional support, and accountability.

You and I will draft a plan that pulls from the many methods that will give you clarity and confidence when making sleep decisions for your child. I will be available daily to answer your questions, monitor sleep logs, and offer emotional support and reassurance.

There will likely be some tears and discomfort involved, as there usually is when we grow and learn.

The goal is that you will be learning alongside your child. This learning together can enhance your bond and your sleep.

Time for a ‘Good Night’s Sleep’!

A good night’s sleep is the foundation to your health. A child’s healthy sleep can allow both of you to start the next day with the energy necessary to be positive.

Jessica has been an incredible support and guide through our daughters sleep journey over the past two years. Most recently when our almost two year old daughter decided to go on a nap strike, Jess helped us with getting our little girl and her much needed naps back on track. Jessica’s approach is gentle and supportive for both child and parents. She was with us every step of the way helping us with the tools we needed to help guide our daughter back to a regulated space so she could nap again. We are so grateful for Jess, her wisdom, guidance and invaluable support..

“Jessica is a GEM — a secret weapon in this maze of parenting. I originally contacted her after about 7 months of sleeplessness with my second child. Sleep wasn’t easy with our first child either, I knew what that long tired path looked like for my child and for me, and I wanted to do things a little differently. Jessica met me where I was, with what I valued, and gave me the confidence, knowledge, and support to find our way to something that worked a lot better for ALL of us. Knowledge: she filled me in on what babies are experiencing developmentally, sleep needs, and a clear plan. Support: I love her text support which is generous, thoughtful, and prompt. Confidence: this was the real winner for me. After my work with Jessica I felt more connection with my baby and myself. I got off the crazy internet and flowed more with my innate knowledge. What started off as sleep training (bleh!) became this empowering, confidence building, emotional and spiritual journey!! I loved Jessica’s approach so much that I’ve kept her as part of my indispensable parenting resources and still use her for guidance regularly!”
